Sanya Tourism Authority

At the entrances and exits of more than twenty 4A and 5A scenic areas in Sanya, including Nanshan Temple, Tianya Haijiao, Luhuitou, and Daxiao Dongtian, a visitor flow data collection system has been implemented. The core technologies utilized in this project include facial recognition and visitor flow monitoring systems, as well as the deployment of data center servers.

The facial recognition and visitor flow monitoring system functions as a highly perceptive observer, accurately identifying tourists’ facial features while tracking real-time fluctuations in visitor numbers. This enables precise insights into the visitor flow at different times and across various scenic entrances, providing essential data to support the efficient management and operation of these attractions.

The deployment of data center servers serves as a robust backbone for data storage, processing, and transmission. It ensures that the collected visitor flow data is securely stored, efficiently processed, and swiftly analyzed, allowing scenic area management teams to make data-driven decisions in a timely manner.

During peak tourism seasons, the facial recognition and visitor flow monitoring system enables scenic areas to promptly detect overcrowding at certain entry points, allowing for immediate crowd control measures to prevent congestion or potential safety hazards. Meanwhile, the high-performance servers ensure that this real-time data is rapidly processed and transmitted, empowering management teams to respond instantly.

By leveraging these advanced data collection methods, Sanya’s scenic areas can enhance service quality, optimize the visitor experience, and ensure sustainable tourism development, creating a safer and more enjoyable environment for all.
